Twenty years building narrative that moved markets, money and people.
Chief Marketing & Growth Officer · Chief Brand Officer · Chief Executive Officer · Founder · Investor · Advisor
I've spent the last twenty years across some of the most competitive growth environments in media, AI-health, consumer and venture-backed technology, as an operator, a founder, and now an advisor.
I returned from the UK in 2013 to lead The Kyle & Jackie O Show at 2DayFM, and the following year led the launch of KIIS in Australia, the largest media launch of the decade in Australian radio. The Kyle & Jackie O Show became Australia's highest-rating commercial breakfast radio show. The work taught me what category creation looks like at scale, with real commercial stakes.
In 2015, I moved into a larger operating role as CMO and General Manager of West HQ, leading the rebrand of Australia's largest hospitality, entertainment and accommodation venue, a $300M+ portfolio. That work taught me how brand decisions land inside an operating P&L.
In 2019, I co-founded Indy, the growth marketing and data science company, and led it as CEO. We built it through the pandemic. Indy recently sold as part of a $35M transaction. Founding and running a company changes how you advise other founders.
From late 2021 through to early 2025, I was Global CMO at Harrison.ai, helping support more than $300M raised, including Australia's largest-ever Series B at $129M. That work was the clearest teacher I've had on the relationship between narrative, category and capital.
Before all this, I helped launch Movember UK in 2012, a single four-week campaign that raised $30M+ for men's health and turned the movement into a global phenomenon.
Based across Australia and New Zealand, with a particular focus on the US–AU corridor. Australian and New Zealand founders scaling into the US, and US companies entering APAC. The companies I advise sit at the intersection of AI, growth and global expansion.
Today I advise a small number of founders and CEOs through the same moments. Current clients include Heidi Health. I'm also an investor at Clea.
A few things I believe.
Narrative is the highest-leverage work a company can do.
Marketing is what happens after the narrative is right. Narrative is what turns a product into a category, and a category into capital and enterprise value.
Category is decided, not discovered.
The companies that lead categories are the ones that decided to lead them, with conviction, before the market gave them permission. The clarity comes from the claim.
The next cycle rewards leverage, not headcount.
The advantage moves from the team that produces the most to the team that decides the best. That changes what marketing and GTM should look like.
Senior judgment compounds.
The decisions that shape valuation and enterprise value are made in moments where senior judgment is either present or absent. The cost of getting them wrong is enormous.
Operating experience changes the advice.
I've been a founder, CEO and global CMO. I've sat in the seat the founders I advise are sitting in. That changes the kind of advice that is possible.
Before any of this, elite sport. Professional rugby league with the Wests Tigers. NSW Waratahs rugby union academy. Australian representative honours at Junior Kangaroos and Junior Wallabies / Australia Under 21s level. The discipline of high-performance team environments, preparing for moments that matter, executing under pressure, operating inside a team rather than above it, still shapes how I work today.
